AmaZulu have signed Lunga Zondi, Sifso Hlanti and Chris Manoka, all from Thanda Royal Zulu. The three players impressed Usuthu scouts while with the Richards Bay outfit during last season’s NFD campaign.
The players’ agent, Abbie Rasimphi, confirmed to Soccer-Laduma that the trio will start the pre-season with Craig Rosslee’s side.
“There has been a lot of interest for the players. But they all chose to join AmaZulu. They believe that AmaZulu is a suitable club for them,” explained Rasimphi.
The three players join Letladi Madubanya, Bongi Macala, Aubrey Mathibe, Bret Amidu and Sidney Urikhob, in the list of new signings at the club.
AmaZulu want to start the new season with a number of fresh faces, which fit into Rosslee’s technical approach of the game, after the club released a number of players at the end of last season.
The coach is aiming to assemble a team that will challenge for honours next season.
