Former Man United Trialist Among SA U20 Side

Thabo Senong Has Named His South African U20 Squad

Thabo Senong has named a 32-man squad of U20 players for this month’s camp in South Africa, including a former Manchester United trialist who has represented Belgium at youth level.
The U20s will be in camp between the 15th and 25th April as they begin their preparations for the upcoming 2019 CAF Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifiers, with Senong’s side coming up against either Mozambique or Seychelles on May 11th.
One of the shock inclusions is Standard Liege defender, Keith Groeneveld, a player who has twice trained with English Premier League giants, United, while there is also a first call-up for Southampton’s Siph Mdlalose. A total of five European-based players have been called up to the team.
