The Siya crew recently reported that SuperSport United had tabled an offer to the 27-year-old attacker after he spent a spell training with the club, and Kaitano Tembo said this week that they were hoping to have a deal finalised in the coming days ahead of this weekend's MTN8 clash with Bidvest Wits.

Now it has been revealed to the Siya crew that 'Section 10' has penned a one-year deal with a two-year option at SuperSport as he looks to get things back on track after a difficult spell with the Buccaneers, and he will be hoping to try and get into Tembo's matchday squad as soon as possible.
Qalinge made more than 80 appearances for Pirates during his time with the club over the last five seasons, but was unable to hold down a regular place in the starting line-up under the various different head coaches that have been in charge.
It remains to be seen whether the former Mpumalanga Black Aces man will be called into Tembo's squad this weekend against Wits, however the Matsatsantsa coach has clearly been impressed by what he's seen from the ex-Buccaneer.
