After over 12 months of absence from the game, Thabo Nthethe has opened up on his return to professional football, after signing a deal with a club.
The experienced defender has been in the football wilderness for some time, having last been on the books of Chippa United during the first half of last season.

Nthethe parted ways with the Chilli Boys in January last year, and has been without a club since, before resurfacing this week when he signed a deal with TS Galaxy in the GladAfrica Championship, after impressing in training with his work-rate.

“To all the supporters of TS Galaxy football club, players, management and technical team, I am very happy to be a part of this wonderful team. I am looking forward to helping the team play good football and in turn bring joy and success to our supporters around the country,” the 35-yar-old said, speaking on the club’s official website.
In what could be Nthethe’s first match for the Mpumalanga-based outfit, TS Galaxy will take on TS Sporting at Kameelrivier Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
