Amakhosi Legend On Chiefs’ New Coach
Thabo Mooki Is Hopeful About Kaizer Chiefs' Season
Kaizer Chiefs legend, Thabo Mooki, is hopeful that a new head coach for the club could help turn around their fortunes in the upcoming season.
The 43-year-old, who won numerous trophies during his many years as a Glamour Boy, will no doubt have been pained watching three trophyless seasons, although he does seem to see a change on the horizon.
Chiefs are still on the lookout for their new head coach to replace Steve Komphela following his resignation back in April, although Stuart Baxter is currently believed to be their first choice target.
Speaking to the club’s official website, 'Tsiki Tsiki' said, “A new coach will always motivate the squad because the players want to impress the new coach.”
Meanwhile, he also gave his brief thoughts on the signing of Khama Billiat, adding, “He will do well and he fits in perfectly with the Kaizer Chiefs style of play.”
Billiat is one of a handful of new signings currently in camp with the team in Potchefstroom, with Patrick Mabedi currently leading the team in training.
Who do you think Chiefs’ new head coach should be?
