Thabo Mngomeni has confirmed his disappointment in Orlando Pirates as a tricky away match against Golden Arrows in KwaZulu-Natal awaits coach Milutin Sredojevic and the team.
The Buccaneers, who beat Arrows’ neighbours AmaZulu 4-1 in their previous match last weekend, will visit Abafana Bes’thende for their Absa Premiership match at the Sugar Ray Stadium on Saturday.
Mngomeni – a former Pirates midfielder and South African football legend – is concerned about the Soweto giants' consistency.
“Let me first mention that what I’m going to say is my wish. It’s my wish, as I can’t be sure of what’s going to happen because they (Pirates) disappointed me against SuperSport (United). I don’t want to be overconfident (after AmaZulu win), but I wish that they can be consistent and beat Arrows. They should be mentally prepared for them to maintain continuity,” said Mngomeni.
