Baroka FC midfielder, Thabiso Kutumela, has indicated that he is a Mamelodi Sundowns fan and idolises midfielder, Teko Modise.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form for the Limpopo-based outfit and has already notched up an impressive seven goals, making him the top marksman in the NFD.
Kutumela scored in Bakgaga’s 2-2 draw with Royal Eagles over the weekend, keeping his team in in touching distance of top spot in the NFD. Baroka in second with a game in hand, two points behind current leader’s Cape Town All Stars who are on 19 points
Mamelodi Sundowns, Bidvest Wits and Platinum Stars are all believed to be interested in acquiring the services of the talented youngster.
Kutumela has indicated that he is an admirer of the Brazilians and in particular their midfield general and captain, Teko Modise.
“I’m a Mamelodi Sundowns’ fan. I love their style of play and one day would like to be like Teko Modise. He’s a good player who I’ve followed from the age of 15 or 16,” Kutumela told Soccer Laduma.
