PSL Offer Ndoro Update After Fresh Protest
The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that next week they will hear the protests of both Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United over the fielding of Tendai Ndoro by Ajax Cape Town.
Ndoro’s situation continues to rumble on after it was made public that his registration with the Urban Warriors breached FIFA’s transfer rules given that he’d already played for two clubs on the same calendar this season.
Muhsin Ertugral has continued to field Ndoro throughout, with Polokwane City also filing a protest and the club having previously been given permission by the PSL’s Dispute Resolutions Committee. A decision that the league themselves consequently appealed.
Now, with Ajax in a relegation dogfight, the PSL say that there could be some sort of conclusion next week. Pirates and Polokwane had previously protested, while SuperSport’s is from their game last week.
A statement read as follows:
The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee will sit next week to hear the Protests from Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United against Ajax Cape Town for fielding the player Tendai Ndoro.
Ajax Cape Town fielded Mr Ndoro against Orlando Pirates on 31 January 2018 and against SuperSport United on 28 February 2018. Both clubs are protesting the eligibility of Mr Ndoro.
The PSL DC will sit on Thursday, 15 Match 2018 in the evening.
