PSL Offer Ndoro Update After Fresh Protest

Tendai Ndoro's Case My Have A Conclusion Next Week As Orlando Pirates Protest

By Soccer Laduma - Mar 08, 2018 01:45 PM
The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that next week they will hear the protests of both Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United over the fielding of Tendai Ndoro by Ajax Cape Town.

Ndoro’s situation continues to rumble on after it was made public that his registration with the Urban Warriors breached FIFA’s transfer rules given that he’d already played for two clubs on the same calendar this season.

Muhsin Ertugral has continued to field Ndoro throughout, with Polokwane City also filing a protest and the club having previously been given permission by the PSL’s Dispute Resolutions Committee. A decision that the league themselves consequently appealed.

Now, with Ajax in a relegation dogfight, the PSL say that there could be some sort of conclusion next week. Pirates and Polokwane had previously protested, while SuperSport’s is from their game last week.

A statement read as follows:

The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee will sit next week to hear the Protests from Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United against Ajax Cape Town for fielding the player Tendai Ndoro.

Ajax Cape Town fielded Mr Ndoro against Orlando Pirates on 31 January 2018 and against SuperSport United on 28 February 2018. Both clubs are protesting the eligibility of Mr Ndoro.

The PSL DC will sit on Thursday, 15 Match 2018 in the evening.

@setlaboswana YES! YES! THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE, CAUSE FIFA IS WATCHING THEM LIKE HAWK, HOW ARE THEY GOING TO ATTEND AND ADDRESS THE SAGA, AND REMEMBER THAT FIFA IN 2014 OR 15 HAD RELEASED GLOBAL LIST OF GOOD RUN SOÇCER LEAGUE ADMINISTRATIONS AND PSL WAS ON TOP10 AND ARE EXPECTED NOT TO DISAPPOINT AND BE DEMOTED

@2twice, comparing Ndoro 'situation to a suspended player demonstrate your incapacity to comprehend the matter at hand. As far as I know no condition whatsoever was attached to Ndoro 's registration.

@setlaboswana again i repeat, the psl had a duty to register him but the onus on eligibility remains with ajax. Its like playing a suspended player, he may be registered but ineligible to play. Ndoro may have been registered but it does not mean the psl must make its duty to ensure he is eligible for every game.

Consistency must apply,we didn't forget that Jomo Cosmos fielded an ineligible player and he was only fined. No points were deducted from them.

@@azzaniawest, PSL are playing games, if, not mind games if what you are saying is what transpired, in fact, that is amateurish. We are in this situation because of them. You seems to suggest that the PSL is now the complaint. I was led to believe Bucs are the complaint in this matter. I just think there is a lot of procedural flaws and conflict of interest in this whole thing.

BEFORE A PSL ENCOUNTER AROUND 17H30(AJAX VS PIRATES) PSL HAS NOTED A BLUNDER CAUSED BY PSL DC OF GIVING AJAX A GO AHEAD FIELDING NDORO AND WARNED AJAX NOT TO PLAY HIM DURING AJAX VS PIRATES ENCOUNTER AND ON WARNING AJAX ABOUT REGISTRATION ON CONDITIONS HE DOESN'T PARTICIPATE ON AN OFFICIAL MATCHES!!!!! I THINK THERE'S WAS NO NEED FOR PSL TO REMIND AJAX, TO THE FACT THAT AJAX ARE THE LONG TIME PSL PARTICIPANTS AND THEY KNOW THE RULES OF A PLAYER REGISTRATION AND MAY I REFRASE YOUR MIND ABOUT THE ISSUE OF MHANGO SIGNING A PRE-CONTRACT WITH BIDVEST FROM CELTICS, REMEMBER HE HAD TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT SEASON TO START

@@azzaniawest, I have noted your comment my friend. When did the PSL warn Ajax not to play Ndoro. Also clarify me on this one: did the PSL inform Ajax that they are registering Ndoro on condition that he doesn't participate in any of their official matches?

NB! As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in offi cial matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. THERE'S NO WAY THAT THE ARABS AND MZANSI HAD THE SAME SEASONS AMEN SAFA SHOULD WAKEUP ADMIN IS POOR CASE CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@5SkippasDoubleTreble, I understand that point, that is not my issue, my view is that PSL is guilty of breaching FIFA Rules (if indeed there was a breach). It is clear that they were not even aware of the existence of such Rules. They should have cancelled the player 's registration as soon as it came to their attention that the registration of the player and the condition thereof was in violation of FIFA Rules, which they failed to do, the chose rather to play victim.

@setlaboswana The 1st line of my comment I copied from the FIFA website rules. It clearly states that a play may be registered by 3 clubs in 1 season but can only play official games in for 2 of those teams. Ajax can claim they did not know this but Pirates and Supersport alerted them before the respective games by protesting but Ajax fielded him anyway.
