Gabuza & Ngoma In Swap Deal for Ndoro?
With Tendai Ndoro’s exit from Mpumalanga Black Aces growing ever more likely, indications coming out of the Orlando Pirates camp is that a swap deal to bring the Zimbabwean to the Parktown-based club is on the cards.
It was revealed by the Siya crew earlier yesterday (Friday, January 16) that Bucs are looking to snatch the 26-year-old from Aces, with Mamelodi Sundowns also keen on the player, with the latest news suggesting that Bucs are looking to offer both striker, Thamsanqa Gabuza and midfielder, Aubrey Ngoma in exchange for Ndoro’s signature.
Ngoma is spending the season on loan with Aces from Pirates and with the recent reports that Aces are wanting to make his stay permanent, Ndoro’s exit could pave the way for Gabuza’s arrival and Ngoma’s permanent transfer.
A Soccer Laduma source close to Aces disclosed to the crew that negotiations are under way. “The talks are at an advanced stage and Aces have made it clear that they want the two players in exchange of the Zimbabwean striker,” said the source.
He added that although Sundowns had made their intentions clear and wanted the player, Bucs are favourites to land Ndoro.
He went on, “It's true there was an early agreement between Sundowns and the player but the club feels that if Pirates give them the two players, it will be a better deal than the one going to Sundowns. Let's wait and see. This could happen at any time.”
