A new deal with a new club could be on the cards for Tefu Mashamaite after he was recently spotted with a team in Mzansi's third tier.
Since parting ways with SuperSport United at the end of last season, Mashamaite had been unsuccessful in his search for a new club in the PSL.
The former Kaizer Chiefs defender was previously linked with a move to Baroka FC, but nothing came out of the reported interest in his services from the Limpopo outfit.
Black Leopards were also interested in the player under former coach Joel Masutha, although the centre-back remained without a club in the top flight, as there had been no formal approaches made to him by the side.

News reaching the Siya crew is that the 34-year-old has been spotted training with ABC Motsepe League side, Baberwa FC.
“Tefu Mashamaite has been spotted at Baberwa FC,” a source told the Siya crew, while not confirming if the player will be signed by the club.
Baberwa currently have a host of former PSL players on their books, including the likes of former Orlando Pirates trio of Khethokwakhe Masuku, Bheki Nzunga and Linda Shiba, as well as ex-Chiefs midfielder Mthokhozisi Yende and goalkeeper Shandu Mulovhedzi.
