Langerman Injury Update Looks Good For Downs

Injured Mamelodi Sundowns left-back, Tebogo Langerman, is expected to be back just after the FIFA international break.

Langerman injured his ribs in their 2-0 win over Chippa United in the Telkom Knockout on Saturday and underwent scans on Monday to determine how serious the injury was.

A Soccer Laduma source close to the club said that Langerman is doing well and he would be ready when the team meets Polokwane City on October 18 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

"The scan showed that it (the injury) wasn't as bad as they thought and with the break ahead, he can heal and be ready soon after the break,” said the source.

“He can start running and playing already and by the time the league resumes he will be okay and fit to play."
