Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Tebogo Langerman, has indicated that the continuity at Sundowns this season is an advantage to the club.
Downs who are notorious for splashing the cash on players during the transfer periods were remarkably quiet during this years’ July/August transfer window.
Langerman thinks that keeping more or less the same squad from season to season will benefit both the club and the players.
“I think it’s an advantage because it gives you continuity. We know each other as players and know how we play.”
“That gives us an advantage as we understand each other and can continue from where we left off last season.”
Downs have rediscovered some form after a shaky start to the campaign, winning back to back games in the league.
The Brazilians will be in a confident mood when they embark on defending the Telkom Knockout trophy with a clash against Chippa United on Saturday at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Do you agree that continuity is an advantage or do you think Downs should have done a bit more business in the market?
