Talks to discuss the immediate future of Orlando Pirates defender, Siyabonga Sangweni and Platinum Stars midfielder, Mogakolodi Ngele, have been postponed.
As reported by the Siya crew in this week’s Soccer Laduma, Edition 874, Mike Makaab, the agent representing both players, was supposed to meet the Bucs management yesterday. Makaab now tells the Siya crew that this meeting has been postponed.
“We couldn’t sit this week, and we postponed it for early next week,” Makaab told the crew.
Sangweni will see his contract with Pirates expiring at the end of the month, but it looks like the Bafana Bafana defender will remain with the Buccaneers after much speculation about his future.
Ngele on the other side, has been a long-term target for Pirates, and the Botswana international has not hidden his desire to join Pirates.
The Siya crew will continue to keep an eye on the Sangweni and Ngele situation.
