Thanda Royal Zulu have boosted their chances of gaining promotion to the PSL, after adding Boubacar Talatou to the club’s roster.
The Niger international has been in the football wilderness since being released by Orlando Pirates last year, however is now set to get his professional career back on track.
A source within the Amabhubesi camp confirmed with the Siya crew that the 25-year-old will turn out in the club’s colours following his signing.
“The guy is with us now. He is from Niger and plays as a central midfielder. He first arrived when we played our last game of last year. He has signed with us but is now with his national team,” said the source.
Talatou spent the latter part of 2012 in his native Niger after being deemed surplus to requirements at Bucs. He made only one league substitute appearance in an official game for Pirates during his spell with the team.
