News reaching the Siya crew’s news desk is that former beleaguered Platinum Stars and Zimbabwean international Takesure Chinyama has become a target for National First Division side Royal Eagles, as they bid for a place in the PSL next season.
The 32-year-old Zimbabwean has found the going tough since leaving Dikwena at the end of last season, having joined them in 2013 from Orlando Pirates.
Chinyama only made four league appearances for the North West side in the 2013/14 and failed to find the back of the net in his league matches for Stars.
Furthermore the crew reported that the Zimbabwean was training with Moroka Swallows earlier this season, however failed to impress the Dube Birds leaving him in limbo.
It has now emerged that Eagles, who boast big coffers thanks to owners millionaire couple Sibusiso and Shauwn Mpisane, could provide the 32-year-old striker with an opportunity to resurrect his ailing career.
Indications are that the Durban-based side is looking to replace former Bucs attacker Thulasizwe Mbuyane, who announced his retirement from professional football, prompting Eagles to find a replacement frontman.
Do you believe that this would be the right move for Chinyama?
