Wana Blow For Swallows

Moroka Swallows will be without their influential forward, Vuyisile Wana, when they take on Wits tonight.

Wana received his fourth booking during the Birds’ 2-1 loss to University of Pretoria last Tuesday, and will miss the Wits clash due to suspension.

In Wana’s absence, Edward Manqele is expected to return to the starting line-up after coming on as a substitute during the Tuks clash.

This might be the perfect opportunity for Manqele to try and cement his place in the team after losing it due to poor form.

Manqele is currently the club leading goal-scorer with seven league goals, but his goal-scoring form has decline since January.

The clash will take place at Bidvest Stadium, with the match set to commence at 19h30.
