As reported by the Siya crew, the 25-year-old midfielder was training with Swallows with a view of signing a contract with the high flying Birds. However, he will now have to look for employment elsewhere after Swallows decided not to sign him.
“Luvuyo is a good player but he is not what I am looking for, so I told him we won’t be signing him,” Swallows coach Zeca Marques told the Siya crew.
“I asked him to stop training because I didn’t want him to waste his time training with us when he should be seeking employment somewhere else,” added Marques.
Swallows’ next game is against University of Pretoria in the Telkom Knockout Last 16 on Saturday.
