Manyisa has been linked with an exit from Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, a club he joined back in June after being released by Mamelodi Sundowns.
Eyebrows were raised when 'Ace' was not among the 22 players unveiled by the club ahead of the DStv Premiership start. The crew was informed that there were reports that TTM had not paid the player his salary, while the club shared that the player was injured, despite contrasting media reports.
At the club’s big unveiling, TTM owner Masala Mulaudzi referred to the Manyisa situation as ‘sensitive’.
With the 32-year-old not having featured for the Limpopo outfit in both their MTN8 and DStv Premiership matches, the player has been sensationally linked with a move to fellow PSL newcomers, Swallows FC.
Contacted for comment, Swallows chairman David Mogashoa dismissed these reports. “This is news to me,” Mogashoa told the Siya crew.
With Swallows having bolstered their squad with 15 players already, the Birds Chairman has revealed that they would only sign more players if they are ‘extraordinary’.
“I’m not looking to add any more (players). We are closing shop. Anyone that comes has to be an extraordinary player. That is the only exception, so I don’t think there is any chance of Oupa signing with Swallows at this stage, no,” Mogashoa explained.
