Newly-promoted Premier Soccer League outfit Swallows FC have added another big-name player to their squad after securing the services of former Orlando Pirates playmaker Musa Nyatama.
Nyatama, who was unveiled on Sunday evening, wasted no time in joining the Birds following the sale of Highlands Park to TS Galaxy, ending speculation surrounding his future.
“Swallows FC has secured the signature of 33-year-old midfield maestro Musa Nyatama. Welcome to the Nest,” Swallows confirmed on the club’s official Twitter account.
Now, the Birds have revealed yet another impressive coup after securing the services of talented attacker Ruzaigh Gamildien from Chippa United.
“Swallows FC has secured the signature of striker & free-kick specialist Ruzaigh Gamildien. Welcome to the Nest,” the club said in a statement on their social media channels.
Gamildien was crucial in ensuring that the Chilli Boys maintain their top-flight status in the 2019/20 campaign. The 31-year-old made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Port Elizabeth outfit, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
Meanwhile, Swallows have also confirmed signing Moeketsi Makhanya – who has been one of the most sought-after players from the second tier – from JDR Stars.
“Swallows FC has secured the signature of striker/winger Moeketsi Makhanya. Welcome to the Nest,” the club confirmed.
Swallows also recently retained six players. Check them out in the gallery below:
