Moroka Swallows are closing in on the signing of Serbian goalkeeper Igor Bondzulic, as they look to bolster their goalkeeping department ahead of the new season.
The Siya crew revealed recently that the Dube Birds are looking to land an experienced goalkeeper from Serbia, although their CEO, Leon Prins, explained that he did not want to reveal his name at the time.
However, the crew did some digging and it seems that Bondzulis is now close to completing his move to Dobsonville, with the deal thought to be in its final stages of negotiations.
Bondzulic has spent the last three seasons playing in the Serbian Super Liga with FK Jagodina, serving as their number one goalkeeper this season, as they managed to secure fourth place on the log.
The keeper had a good season with Jagodina, conceding just 23 goals in 28 league appearances for the club, although his side missed out on a place in the Europa League by one spot.
