SuperSport United are looking to try and extend the contract of sharp-shooting striker, Jeremy Brockie.
The 28-year-old New Zealander hit the ground running when he made his debut back in February of last year, and since that date not a single professional footballer in South Africa has scored more goals than him (25).
With that in mind, as reported in today's issue of Soccer Laduma, the Siya crew have been informed that the club are looking to reward him with a new improved contract in Pretoria.
SuperSport stood firm at the start of the season when Mamelodi Sundowns submitted a bid of around R15m for the Kiwi forward, and he has since gone on to be directly involved with 20 goals in all competitions this year, getting 15 himself and assisting five.
The crew is led to believe that Matsatsantsa are looking to not only extend the player's contract but also improve his financial package as they look to put off any other clubs that may be looking to try and poach him.
Brockie's current deal runs until 2017, however it is thought that a new contract could be agreed before the end of the 2015/16 season.
