SuperSport Star Pens New Deal
He may have had two years left on his previous deal, but SuperSport United have acted quickly to make sure that they have Aubrey Modiba tied down for the foreseeable future.

Modiba has continued to grow with Matsatsantsa following his move from Cape Town City at the start of last season, playing a vital role as they won the Nedbank Cup, Telkom Knockout and MTN8 since his arrival at the club.
‘Postman’, who scored the winner against Ajax Cape Town last night, signed a four-year deal with SuperSport in 2016 when he made the move to Gauteng, meaning that his contract was only due to expire at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
SuperSport, however, are not taking any chances, and the Siya crew have been informed that he has now signed a deal until 2021, with an option to extend until 2022 if things go well.
It is thought that Modiba, who only turned 22 this year, does have intentions of playing overseas, and SuperSport’s record of not standing in the way of their players will no doubt have played a part in persuading him to extend.
