The midfielder, who managed to revive his career with Chippa United after a stint with Royal Eagles in the NFD, joined SuperSport in January.
He had made an impressive nine starts and one substitute appearance in the opening 12 Absa Premiership games of the 2015/16 season for Chippa.
Under Gordon Igesund at the time, Matsatsantsa negotiated with Chippa for the player’s early release, after they signed him on a pre-contract.
Having made three starts and one substitute appearance for SuperSport, the Khayelitsha-born player has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Tshwane outfit.
