The 20-year-old, who was at Power Dynamos last season, came on trial with SuperSport earlier this year, and it appears he did enough to prove to Kaitano Tembo back then that he was deserving of a deal with Matsatsantsa.

Lungu scored an impressive 16 goals in Zambia last term, however even more impressive is the fact that he clocked up 22 assists for his side throughout the course of the season.

Now, having made the switch to South Africa, the youngster was given his Absa Premiership debut on Wednesday night as he came on as a substitute during SuperSport's 1-0 win over AmaZulu, replacing Man of the Match, Lyle Lakay, with just over 15 minutes remaining.

The forward's arrival was confirmed on the same day as fellow new signing, Phumlani Ntshangase, who joined the club on loan from Bidvest Wits and introduced himself to his new teammates at the stadium yesterday evening.
