SuperSport United have announced Kaitano Tembo as their new head coach, the same week as they launched their 2018/19 kit.

The Siya crew previously reported that Matsatsantsa were likely to appoint Tembo on a permanent basis ahead of the new season, with the club legend having come in as caretaker coach following the resignation of Eric Tinkler. Now, after months of speculation, that appointment has been confirmed.
Meanwhile, the club also held their end of season awards this week, with Tembo, Aubrey Modiba and Dean Furman walking away with individual gongs.

Tembo has signed a two-year deal with SuperSport, and his first game as head coach will come against Cape Town City when the Absa Premiership gets underway this weekend.
