Booysen spent the latter half of the 2015/16 Absa Premiership season on loan with Matsatsantsa after being deemed surplus to requirements at Chloorkop, and went on to help the Pretoria outfit lift the Nedbank Cup title last month.
The Siya crew has previously reported that SuperSport were interested in landing the central defender on a permanent basis once his loan expires, and it appears they are now drawing closer to a deal.
According to Siya sources, SuperSport have verbally agreed on the terms of the 27-year-old's deal, but nothing is confirmed as yet.
