SuperSport United are set to announce Cavin Johnson as the club’s new head coach later this afternoon, as predicted by Soccer-Laduma.
Matsatsantsa have been without a coach since parting ways with Gavin Hunt at the end of last season, with Johnson having been the odds-on favourite to take over the coaching reigns at the Tshwane-based outfit for some time, despite various names having been linked to the job.

Sources close to the imminent deal have now confirmed that Johnson will be named as the club’s new coach today.
In addition, a high-ranking source from within the Platinum Stars camp confirmed to the Siya crew that Johnson has been allowed to leave the club.
Johnson led Stars to a second place finish in the Absa Premiership last campaign, as well as to the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup.
