Super Eagles Appoint A New Coach

A new head coach has been appointed to take charge of a team in the National First Division.

Earlier today (Tuesday), it was reported by the Siya crew that Super Eagles had parted ways with their coach Antonio Jesus Flores, and his assistant Tshegofatso Mashego. 

The Free State team moved quickly to replace the Spanish coach with Ian Palmer, who has been roped in on a short-term deal to run until the end of the season, as confirmed by his representatives from P Management.

“Ian Palmer has joined Super Eagles as their new head coach. The coach will be attempting to save the team from relegation. He has joined the club on a short-term contract,” P Management’s Ntuthuko Zwane confirmed to the Siya crew.

Eagles are 15th on the NFD log with only five wins from 23 matches so far this season. The team’s next match will be against Royal Eagles on March 17.
