With the transfer window in South Africa now open for business, Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that they have tied down 10 of their players for another year.
The club’s official website explained that Method Mwanjali, Dennis Onyango, Walter Maponyane, Thela Ngobeni, Musa Nyatama, Lionel Mtizwa, Thabo Makgothi, Seun Ledwaba, Xolani Mdaki and
Nyasha Mushekwi have all had their options exercised and will remain at the club until at least June 2014.
Meanwhile, ‘Downs also confirmed the departure of Calvin Marlin, as reported recently by Soccer-Laduma, after he was told that he would not be getting his contract extended by the club.
It is believed that The Brazilians will be having a major overhaul ahead of the new season, with several players set to leave the club and several more likely to be added to their ranks.
