The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has, this morning, released a statement with regards to the fixture change between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.
Following a meeting of the South African Football Association (SAFA) International Affairs Committee, it was agreed that the Absa Premiership fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs, initially scheduled for 28 January 2014, be moved to Thursday night, 23 January 2013.
The highly anticipated top-of-the-table clash was initially scheduled to take place on November 23, but was moved to December 11 and then January 28. However, fans will now be able to watch the game five days earlier with many anticipating one of the two teams to walk away with league honours come May.
Fans who bought tickets dated December 10 to the postponed Mamelodi Sundowns vs. Kaizer Chiefs match, will be given full refunds at any Computicket outlet.
The game is set to start at 19h30 from Loftus Versfeld.
