Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is assessing Njabulo Ntusi with a view of adding him to their roster.
Ntusi has struggled to find a club since leaving Pirates last year. The Secunda-born player trained with SuperSport United without any luck, following his exit from Bucs.
The player’s agent, Josiah Mphono of Mphono Players Management, confirmed to the Siya crew that Ntusi is training with Sundowns.
“Njabulo Ntusi is training with Sundowns. The coach likes him from what I understand. He is a right-back and used to play for Orlando Pirates. Do you remember him?
He is in good shape and the coach likes him. The coach wants another right back to add to Rama (Ramahlwe Mphahlele) and Bryce (Moon). They gave the player an opportunity to show what he can do and is doing well.
"He used to play for Tuks before he moved to Pirates. The boy is a free agent and isn’t affected by the transfer window or anything like that. We’ve got his clearance with us,” said Mphono.
