Mamelodi Sundowns have appointed Erik Hamren as the club's new Technical Director.

The Siya crew reported last month that the Swedish coach did meet with the Brazilians and that he was interested in a move to South Africa.
Sundowns have now confirmed that the 60-year-old has been appointed as the club's Technical Director.
Hamren last managed the Sweden national side where helped the team qualify for Euro 2012 and Euro 2016.
The 60-year-old has also managed the likes of Rosenborg, Aab and Örgryte IS at club level.
