Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed that Rodney Ramagalela and Rashid Sumaila are available for selection ahead of their game against Golden Arrows.
The Brazilians take on Abafana Bes’thende at Loftus Stadium tonight in a game that Pitso Mosimane and his charges will hope to get maximum points, following the team’s 1-0 loss against Kaizer Chiefs in the previous game.
“Mamelodi Sundowns received a timely boost hours before the all-important league clash against Lamontville Golden Arrows, with the return from injury of several players. Rodney Ramagalela, Alje Schut and Rashid Sumaila have all returned and are available for selection.
"In Sundowns’ last match against Kaizer Chiefs the defence was hit by an injury crisis, with two of the three centre-backs in doubt hours before the match. Now the arrival of Thabo Nthethe adds more options for Coach Pitso Mosimane and his technical team.
"Punch Masenamela misses this match as the defender battles with flu, while Sibusiso Kumalo will be side-lined with a hamstring injury. Esrom Nyandoro and his fellow Sundowns veteran, Suprise Moriri are also out of this clash after picking up minor knocks. Nyandoro has a hip contusion, while Moriri has a knock to his knee.
"Mukuka Mulenga and goalkeeper Glenn Verbauwhede who underwent ankle injury operations late last year have shown a great deal of improvement in their rehabilitation, said the team doctors,” sundownsfc.co.za revealed.
