AmaZulu are still waiting to hear from Mohammed-Awal Issah regarding his decision to leave the side, despite signing a three-year-contract when he joined at the beginning of the 2013/14 season.
The Ghanaian made two league starts for Usuthu before his disappearance from the club. He was alongside Letladi Madubanya expected to add experience to the midfield of AmaZulu this season.
Madubanya has since joined Wits with Usuthu having signed John Arwuah and Nhlanhla Shabalala as the two players’ replacements in Craig Rosslee’s team.
AmaZulu team manager, Japhet Zwane, confirmed to the Siya crew that there is still no sign of Issah at the club.
“He isn’t here. That’s a good question but I don’t know what’s happening,” said Zwane.
Issah is expected to be haul before the management of the KZN side for a disciplinary hearing about his actions.
