Former Bidvest Wits goalkeeper, Steven Hoffman, has signed for Vasco da Gama in the NFD. The shot-stopper has been in club search, since parting ways with Wits at the end of last season.
The 20-year-old has already been to Ajax Cape Town and Santos in his club search. The Edgemead-born goalkeeper confirmed to the Siya crew that he has signed for the Parow-based side.
Hoffman is a product of the Wits’ youth setup. He joins a number of players that have signed for Vasco recently.
Former Orlando Pirates defender, Sibusiso Mxoyana, as well as Danleigh Borman and Jonathan Armogam are some of the players that have joined the ambitious Cape side.
It was revealed by the Siya crew on Thursday that Kaizer Chiefs striker, Nicholas Mynhardt, has joined Vasco on loan for the 2014/15 season.
