Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela says that striker Edward Manqele will improve with more game time.
The Amakhosi forward scored his first goal in his first start for the team to help them to a one-all draw against Ajax Cape Town on Saturday.
Komphela, who introduced Manqele to the PSL while at Free State Stars before he was signed by Mamelodi Sundowns, said that Manqele still has what it takes to be a top striker and is confident he can get him back to his best.
"He needs game time. We all know what he is capable of doing. His talent and skill surpasses the time he has on the field because as he goes now he tires, but with more game time we will see more from him,” said Komphela.
“All he needs is the game time and he will be back at his best," the former Maritzburg United coach concluded.
