Komphela: The Mood Has Changed

Kaizer Chiefs coach, Steve Komphela, is pleased with the way his side have responded to their MTN8 final loss as they prepare to return to league action.

The Amakhosi turn their attention to the Absa Premiership when they host University of Pretoria at the FNB Stadium this evening, with the proceedings scheduled to get underway at 19h30.

Komphela’s charges will be looking to put their cup final disappointment in the past and keep pace with teams at the top of the table by continuing their unbeaten run in which they have won two and drawn two of their opening four league games.

“You can see for yourself, the mood has changed. We have moved on. We have put the past behind us and we look forward to the future.”

“We are unbeaten in the league and within the target we’ve set for this block of fixtures. We will go into this match with a similar squad but with a different approach.”

“We will make sure that we impose ourselves on them, because this is our home match,” Komphela told the official Chiefs website.
