Judas Moseamedi, popularly known as the Kaizer Chiefs slayer, is poised to leave his current club with a swap deal on the cards.
Word reaching the Siya crew is that the striker is expected to leave Maritzburg United to join Stellenbosch FC with young Leletu Skelem going in the opposite direction.
An announcement confirming the deal is expected this week from both clubs.
Moseamedi has made a name for himself in the big matches, particularly those that involve Chiefs, having terrorised them a few times over the years – including last season in a DStv Premiership fixtures.
But he is now expected to take his form to Stellies under coach Steve Barker, with Skelem, who was targeted by Amakhosi, moving to the Midlands.
The Siya crew recently reported that a move to Gauteng was now off the table for Skelem, who had been unsettled with all the reports that he was likely to join the Soweto giants this season.
But Barker had poured cold water on the link earlier this year, telling journalists that the attacker was a Stellies player for the foreseeable future.
He is now set to make the shock move to Maritzburg with Moseamedi, a much older and more experienced striker, replacing him.
