Stellenbosch FC confirmed that they have parted ways with one of their veteran defenders.
Morgan Gould joined the Western Cape-outfit in July last year, after parting ways with SuperSport United following a three-year stint at the club.
The 37-year-old went on to make just 11 appearances in all competitions for Steve Barker’s side, playing second fiddle to Robyn Johannes and Sibusiso Mthethwa.
However, the former Kaizer Chiefs defender’s stay at Stellenbosch has now officially come to an end, with the Western Cape-outfit opting against renewing his contract at the club.
Stellenbosch confirmed on their official Twitter account by saying,” Stellenbosch FC would like to take this opportunity to thank Morgan Gould for his phenomenal service to the club, on and off the pitch. His leadership and guidance in the locker room will surely be missed by all of us at the club. All the best MG!"
