ABSA Premiership
Teams: Wits v Amazulu
Date: 17 September 2013
Venue: Bidvest Stadium
Gavin Hunt’s unbeaten Wits will hope to carry on their early season form against second placed AmaZulu at the Bidvest Stadium in tonight’s Absa Premier League match.
The home side have picked up a draw and two consecutive wins in their first three league meetings and their unbeaten run will be tested by a confident Amazulu team, who could move up to top of the table with an away win.
Durban side Amazulu currently have nine points after their four league games, with wins against Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town away from home accompanied by their home win against Moroka Swallows this past weekend. Their only loss was suffered at the hands of PSL new boys Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Wits midfielder Matty Pattison could make his return in tonight's Premiership contest after being on paternity leave during the 1-0 defeat of Ajax Cape Town last Friday while striker Calvin Kadi is out injured with a hamstring strain.
The visitors will be without injured fullback Sadney Urikhob, while fellow Namibian Pinehas Jakob and experienced midfielder Letladi Madubanya are also battling to overcome knocks in time for the meeting with the Clever Boys.
