Results: Uganda v Burkina Faso

Uganda will take on Burkina Faso in the second Group B game of the CAF African Nations Championship at Athlone Stadium on Sunday.
Both teams will be eager to win this game as victory for either side will see them top Group B as Zimbabwe and Morocco played to a goalless draw earlier in the day.
This is the second time Uganda have qualified for the CHAN tournament and will be eager to prove a point, but will face stiff competition in Burkina Faso. Their debut in Sudan three years ago ended in a group stage exit.
At the 2011 CHAN competition, Uganda lost all the group games to Algeria (0-2), Sudan (0-1) and Gabon (1-2) under the guidance of Scotsman Robert ‘Bobby’ Williamson.
The Cranes qualified for the 2014 edition on a 4-1 goal aggregate after stopping the Taifa Stars of Tanzania 1-0 away in Dar Es Salaam and 3-1 at the Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
In recent years Burkina Faso have had the better of Uganda and they will be hoping for the same in their first match of the competition.
Burkina Faso are gracing the tournament for the first time with the Stallions returning to the scene of their memorable showing at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations where they finished as runners-up to Nigeria and will be hoping to replicate the performance.
