Absa Premiership leaders SuperSport United will welcome Moroka Swallows to the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.

SuperSport lost their 100 percent record on the weekend when they were held to a 1-1 away draw by Mpumalanga Black Aces.

The Tshwane side has beaten Free State Stars and Kaizer Chiefs in their two home matches so far this season.

Matsatsantsa are placed first on the Absa Premiership log with 10 points from four matches.

Swallows lost their first league match of the season this past weekend, going down 2-0 away to University of Pretoria.

The Soweto side is yet to win on the road this season, with just a points from two away matches.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Swallows have met in 45 league matches since 1990.

Matsatsantsa have 18 wins compared to 13 for the Birds, while 14 matches have been drawn. The Soweto side has not won a league game in this rivalry since 2005/06.

SuperSport have won nine of the 22 home matches they have had against Swallows, suffering five defeats in the process.

Last season United took four points off the Birds, winning 3-1 in Soweto before a 0-0 draw in the return game in Tshwane.
