ABSA Premiership
Teams: Mamelodi Sundowns v Wits
Date: 21 September 2013
Venue: Loftus Stadium
Two of the last three remaining unbeaten sides in the PSL meet this evening at Loftus Stadium, and both Mamelodi Sundowns and Wits will fight to keep that record in tact.
Goal difference is all that separates these two at the moment on the PSL table, both teams have played four games, and have had two victories and two draws each, and a win tonight for either side could see them move to the top of table.
Historically Sundowns have had the better of the Students, winning 16 of the last 27 clashes between the two, with Wits having won just four.
But this will be a very different Wits team with Gavin Hunt at the helm, who is certainly no stranger to Loftus, after his many years at Supersport United.
Hunt will expect much more from his team, who were lucky to pounce on a Tapuwa Kapini error in the dying minutes of their mid-week game to force a 1-1 draw with Amazulu.
Sundowns also had to comeback from behind to draw 2-2 in their mid-week clash with Ajax Cape Town, though with Khama Billiat hitting the woodwork twice, and Ajax getting a soft penalty, Pitso Mosimane will feel they should have won that game.
This is how they line-up:
Mamelodi Sundowns: Kennedy Mweene, Alje Schut, Wayne Arendse, Tebogo Langerman, Bryce Moon, Hlompho Kekana, Katlego Mashego, Bongani Zungu, Khama Billiat, Dové Womé, Cuthbert Malajila
Wits: Moeneeb Josephs, Keamogetse Wolff, Musa Bilankulu, Sipho Mngomezulu, Matthew Booth, Matty Pattison, Tinashe Nengomasha, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Ryan Chapman, Papy Faty, Getaneh Kebede [Gebeto]
