ABSA Premiership
Teams: Pirates v Maritzburg
Date: 18 May 2013
Venue: Orlando Stadium
Orlando Pirates will bring the curtain down on a disappointing league campaign when they host Maritzburg United on Saturday.
The best possible finish for the Sea Robbers would be second place, but that would depend on Platinum Stars' result at the same time.
Pirates saw their hopes of retaining the league crown slip away in their last encounter and rivals Kaizer Chiefs then completed the job with a draw against SuperSport United on Wednesday.
The Buccaneers also still have the CAF Champions League to compete in, something that could save their season.
For Maritzburg, a top eight finish seems highly unlikely after they have gone seven games without a win and are down in 11th place.
Pirates have Sifiso Myeni back at their disposal but Roger De Sa could give his fringe players a run, as he did in their 4-1 win over Black Leopards.
This is how they line up:
Pirates: Senzo Meyiwa, Rooi Mahamutsa, Happy Jele, Patrick Phungwayo, Ayanda Gcaba, Khethokwakhe Masuku, Tlou Segolela, Oupa Manyisa, Thandani Ntshumayelo, Onyekachi Okonkwo, Collins Mbesuma.
Maritzburg: Bandile Shandu, Ruben Cloete, Mohammed Awal, Mario Booysen, David Booysen, Peter Petersen, Delron Buckley, Dillon Sheppard, Ryan De Jongh, Cuthbert Malajila, Orlando Smeekes.
