Orlando Pirates head into their final CAF Champions League group stage clash needing a win to keep their semi-final hopes in the continental tournament alive.

The Sea Robbers let their firm grip on Group A slip after successive defeats away to Zamalek and AC Leopards, which has put them under pressure ahead of their final group game.

Al Ahly fought back from a shaky start and come into the game as leaders in the group, with the African champions on 10 points from 5 games.

A win for Pirates would allow them to get the better of Al Ahly in terms of goal difference and head-to-head, which would ensure them a runners-up spot in the group.

Leopards have the head to head advantage over the South Africans, after holding them to a draw in South Africa before beating the Buccaneers in their home game and face Zamalek at the same time.

Coach Roger de Sa has promised an attacking approach, while their Egyptian opponents have vowed to do the same as they look go through as outright group winners.
