2013 AFCON Third-Place Play-Off
Teams: Mali v Ghana
Date: 9 February 2013
Venue: Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
Ghana will be looking to end on a high following their shock defeat in the semi-finals to Burkina Faso at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars were once again tipped as one of the favourites to win the showpiece, but they failed to find their best form throughout the tournament.
Brukina Faso were good value for their semi-final triumph, where a number of poor decisions went in favour of Ghana and resulted in the referee being suspended following the clash.
Mali will also be eager to claim third place for a second tournament in a row, but have already been defeated by Ghana in the group stages.
The Eagles saw off tournament hosts South Africa in the quarter-finals but were outclassed by a superb Nigeria side in the final four - losing 4-1.
Standard Bank Key Man: Seydou Keita. Mali will be hoping to claim bronze once again and Keita could help inspire them to victory in what could be a tough game for the eagles.
This is how they line up:
Ghana: Fatau Dauda, Richard Kissi Boateng, Isaac Vorsah, John Boye, Harrison Afful, Mohammed Awal, Solomon Asante, Kwadwo Asamoah, Christian Atsu, Mubarak Wakaso, Asamoah Gyan.
Mali: Soumbeyla Diakite, Fousseiny Diawara, Adama Coulibaly, Ousmane Coulibaly, Salif Coulibaly, Adama Tamboura, Kalilou Traore, Seydou Keita, Mahamane Traore, Cheick Tidiane Diabate, Mahamadou Samassa.
