2013 AFCON Quarter-Final
Teams: Ivory Coast v Nigeria
Date: 3 February
Venue: Royal Bafokeng Stadium
Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria line up for a titanic 2013 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash on Sunday at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
The Elephants, who again came into the tournament as favourites to go all the way, finished top of Group D to secure their passage into the next round.
Nigeria's Super Eagles, on the other hand, finished as runners-up in Group C following their 2-0 win over Ethiopia.
Ivory Coast, the top ranked team in Africa, will be hoping to bring an end to a 21-year wait for the African crown while Nigeria last won the trophy back in 2004.
Cote d'Ivoire coach Sabri Lamouchi had the luxury of resting some of his stars in their 2-2 draw with Algeria after having already secured qualification for the quarter-finals.
Arsenal's Gervinho, Manchester City's Yaya Toure and Newcastle United's Cheick Tiote will all return to the fold after watching on from the sidelines last time out.
For Nigeria, they will be hoping that Chelsea winger Victor Moses will continue his hot form while Efe Ambrose was also a star performer against Ethiopia.
Standard Bank Key Man: Victor Moses. If the Super Eagles are to upset the tournament favourites, Moses will need to be at his best in attack.
This is how they line up:
Ivory Coast: Boubacar Barry, Emmanuel Eboue, Didier Zokora, Souleman Bamba, Siaka Tiene, Cheick Tiote, Romaric, Yaya Toure, Gervinho, Salomon Kalou, Didier Drogba.
Nigeria: Vincent Enyeama, Elderson Echiejile, Kenneth Omeruo, Godfrey Oboabona, Efe Ambrose, Sunday Mba, Ogenyi Onanzi, John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses, Brown Ideye, Emmanuel Emenike.
