Teams: Chiefs v Maritzburg
Date: 14 September 2013
Venue: FNB Stadium
Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to get their season on track when they host Maritzburg United on Saturday night.
The defending ABSA Premiership champions have struggled to hit their best form this season, despite opening their campaign with a victory over Mpumalanga Black Aces.
In the league they recently suffered a 3-1 loss to SuperSport United after having held on for a draw against a determined Moroka Swallows.
A loss to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 semi-final first-leg also added pressure on the Glamour Boys, who slipped down to ninth place on the league table ahead of the start of their game.
The Team of Choice have also not been in their best form at the start of the season having been held to a goalless draw at home to Tuks in the last outing - after a loss to Free State Stars away from home.
Chiefs will be hoping that striker Knowledge Musona will finally break his duck in the league after the Zimbabwe international scored for the Warriors in their 2-1 win over South Africa. Kingston Nkhatha, who was also in good form for his national side, has been given the chance to link up with his compatriot.
This is how they line up:
Chiefs: Itumeleng Khune, Siboniso Gaxa, Morgan Gould, Tefu Mashamaite, Tsepo Masilela, Willard Katsande, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Bernard Parker, Knowledge Musona, Kingston Nkhatha.
Maritzburg: Shu-aib Walters, Mario Booysen, Robyn Johannes, Ruben Cloete, Rheece Evans, Thami Mkhize, Ryan De Jongh, Michael Morton, Dillon Sheppard, Ashley Hartog, Terrance Mandaza.
