CAF African Nations Championship
Teams: Burkina Faso v Morocco
Date: 16 January 2013
Venue: Athlone Stadium
Both Burkina Faso and Morocco will be looking for their first wins in the 2014 edition of the CAF African Nations Championship when the two lock horns in a Group B match at the Athlone Stadium on Thursday.
A win for Morocco by more than a two goal margin will see them go to the top of Group B after Zimbabwe and Uganda played to a 0-0 draw earlier in the day.
Morocco head into this game off the back of a 0-0 draw against Zimbabwe in their opening match of the tournament and will be confident of victory over Burkina Faso.
Burkina Faso lost their opening match of the tournament, going down 2-1 to Uganda which sees them at the bottom of the group, and they will be eager to bounce back with victory over Morocco.
A loss for Burkina Faso would guarantee their elimination from the tournament while a win for Morocco would put them in good stead to make it to the knockout stages.
Here is how they line up.
Burkina Faso: Mohamed Kabore, Alassane Sango, Issa Gouo, Issoufou Dayo, M'bah Kone, Aboubacar Sidiki Traoré, Eric Traore, Valentin Zoungrana, Youssouf Kabore, Bassirou Ouedraogo, Ilias Tiendrebéogo.
